Cheesy Crinkle Fries with Bacon Bits Recipe

Cheesy Crinkle Fries with Bacon Bits Recipe

How do you feel about this story?

You can never go wrong with fries. It has been one of my family’s ultimate comfort foods.

We always have frozen fries in the fridge and it’s so easy to cook whenever the craving strikes.

Are you as picky as me when it comes to the quality of your fries? If you are, I highly recommend you carefully read the label of the frozen potato you’re buying in the grocery. Always go for U.S. frozen potatoes. They have yet to disappoint me! The final product is crunchy and delicious.

You can make fries from scratch, of course. But if you don’t have the time to peel, slice, and prep, then frozen potatoes are the best option for sure.

My kids like our fries plain, but they also enjoy them with cheese or sour cream powder. I had a few extra ingredients, so I came up with a loaded fries version that they devoured in minutes! Here’s the recipe of my Cheesy Crinkle Fries with Bacon Bits.

32 oz frozen crinkle cut potatoes
2 cups cheese sauce
1/2 cup bacon bits

  1. Put your frozen potatoes in the air fryer.
  2. Set the temperature to 200C and the timer to 14 minutes.
  3. Turn it on and wait til the times runs out.
  4. Get it out of the air fryer and plate it.
  5. Drizzle some cheese sauce on top.
  6. Top with bacon bits.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Super tasty! I’ve tried this with other cuts as well, like straight-cut, wedges, and curly fries. Other toppings will work, too, so feel free to load it with sour cream, guacamole, or even barbecue sauce.

It is a filling snack that’s good for our health because potatoes are nutrient-dense vegetables.

It means that they provide essential nutrients like potassium, carbohydrates, vitamin C, and dietary fiber.
