August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month and it is very timely that Mother Nurture- the first-ever lactation Choco and Coffee mix in the Philippines is formally launched to the media last August 27, 2019 after 5 years of online entrepreneurship and now approved by the FDA.
Breastfeeding is being normalized and promoted everywhere because of the many benefits of it to an infant.
(Lan Perez, founder and Momboss of Mother Nurture Ph)
Ms. Lan San Juan-Perez, the woman behind Mother Nurture products is a Coffee lover and she was aware that not all coffee drinks are safe for pregnant and lactating Mothers because of the caffeine content. She then formulated and developed a coffee and chocolate mix of her own specially made for lactation now known as Mother Nurture.
The Mother Nurture 7in1 Chocomix and 7in1 Coffeemix is made with carefully selected ingredients. These are packed with breastmilk production booster or galactagogues such as Calcium Lactate, Malunggay power and Ashitaba. It also has Gotu Kola, a herb that helps relieve mental fatigue and boost blood circulation.
Experts Dr. Iris Buenaventura Muñoz (Pediatrician) ; Dr. Kirsten Cruz (OB-Gyne) ; Breastfeeding Counselor: Cristina Cervantes, also had a panel interview wherein they discussed the benefits of breastfeeding your child and how lactation supplements such as Mother Nurture actually helps in our journey. They mentioned that lactating mothers can drink as much as 3 cups of coffee in 5 oz per day.
Mother Nurture products are made by a mom for moms so Ms. Lan also opened her products to online sellers so they can also be a mompreneur and help out the family while staying home. She currently has more than 150 partner reseller stores, fellow breastfeeding moms and advocates nationwide.

Mother Nurture Drink Mixes are a delicious and nutritious way to boost breast milk production apart from staying fit and eating healthy.
Breastmilk is still the best nourishment we can provide for our babies. I exclusively breastfed my kids as much as I can although in different intervals. It works wonders for your child and best of all it’s free.
My advice is choose to breastfeed if you can and see support if needed. Whatever the circumstances, at the end of the day, fed is best.
Congratulations Mommy Lan and Mother Nurture Ph!
Thanks for reading. 💙
Much love,
Mommy Gail
